Partnership Exploration

This is a more comprehensive evaluation of the opportunity (by both parties). We visit your small company, meet more team members, you can ask us questions about our initial proposal and refine it as necessary based on what you’ve learned.

Official Proposal

A detailed proposal (3-5 pages) outlining the key terms of the transaction (valuation, outcomes, ownership, employment, etc.). Involves exclusivity but is not binding and is not a definitive agreement.

Comprehensive Review & Plan

When we do our deep dive on all aspects of the business, called “due diligence”. This is a very time consuming process for both buyer and seller. Third parties (accounting firms) will be involve.

Legal & Documentation

This is a legal process where we reach a definitive agreement.

The entire process usually takes 6-12 months and consists of 9 stages in 4 main sections.
